A few reports coming soon. Some windswell from pretty steep is out there perhaps, but the tidal swings are going to be wicked these next few days. This from NOAA:
HIGH TIDES IN EXCESS OF 7 FEET WILL OCCUR SUNDAY THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING AND MAY CAUSE MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW IN LOW LYING AREAS OF VENTURA AND LOS ANGELES COUNTIES. THE HIGHEST TIDES WILL OCCUR DURING THE MORNING. PROPERTY OWNERS AND ANYONE ELSE AT THE COAST WHERE MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW WOULD CAUSE PROBLEMS SHOULD TAKE ACTION IF NEEDED AND MONITOR THE SITUATION DURING THIS PERIOD.
I'm still not quite sure why NOAA yells these things. An article in the SLO indy paper, "New Times" about an association of amputee surfers that hang out in the Pismo area. That site can be found at Ampsurf.com and the article about the learn to surf clinic they held on October 24 for amputees is here.
