New Reports for 17, 19, 21, 22, and 23 of November.
Strange start to a surf year. No real "Back to School Swell" to speak of but then a very consistent lineup of Alaskan swells in the first part of October. The high pressure then enveloped that whole area and we didn't get a "Halloween Swell" for the first time in ever. Now it appears the unheard of is going to happen, after at least 4 fun straight "Thanksgiving Swells" in a row we now look like we are going to take a big bagel on turkey day. Stormsurf is saying there will at least be something out there on Thursday, and getting better as the weekend progress's, but nothing of the epicness we deserve. There is always hope for the "Christmas Swell". Something to put on your wishlist: Storm Train in Gulf of Alaska.
Once SB local Todd has maintained Golden Coast Surfing up in the bay area for some time, complete with Maddux inspired surf reports. The Newspress has madeover their online classified section, making it more searchable and enjoyable. Matt is selling 'some kind of jetpilot' wetsuit in the SBS classifieds.
