This Friday, March 19 is a benefit to help pay for the medical expenses of local surfer Brandon Yates. It's at The Sandbar (formerly Calypso) on lower state st. from 7-10pm. $35 Presale, $40 door, 100% proceeds to Brandon Yates. Wine and Hors d' oeuvres served. This Saturday was the Freestyle 2003-2004 Surf Happens SBSS Season Championships @ Tarpits in Carpenteria. No news on the results but it looks like SurfSB has the results from the Rincon Classic and the Campus Point contest also.
