This site has always taken a mostly neautral role in local issues, letting the reader decide how they feel about beach access, coastal development and etc. With that in mind, however, I'd like to point out that we have less than two weeks until the Board of Supervisors votes on the IV Parking Plan on Tuesday May 18th. Untill then the Surfrider Foundaton is suggesting mass vocalness to our leaders.
If you oppose this IV Parking Plan, go ahead and write a quick note to your supervisor (or all of them). Even one line saying you oppose it for blah blah will get noted and effect the outcome.

What you have to remember is there are many trustafarian activist wackos in this town that don't have jobs and thus have a lot of time to sway the county to follow their skewed worldview. It's going to take a lot of letters from hard working surfers like us who usually mind our own business to offset those wackos.
