New surf reports from Sands and the Central Coast on Friday and Saturday.
"The California Report, created by KQED-FM, will begin airing a four part series on California's coastal issues beginning this Friday, October 22. The series, a companion to KQED-TV's hour long documentary, "Coastal Clash" reports on coastal stories not covered, or only mentioned in the film. The series will run on October 22, 29, November 5 and 12. An archived broadcast will also be found on the Coastal Clash website after the airing of each segment. The California Report airs on Public Radio Stations around California." KCBX 90.1FM aired the first episode at 4:30pm and 6:30pm on Friday. You can listen to the first episode here and listen on the next 3 Fridays at 4:30. This weeks episode touched on the Ranch and I imagine it's coverage will received mixed reactions among local surfers.
