A new report from an offshore Sands session on Wednesday.

The Santa Barbara Surfrider Foundation and average folks like us scored a huge victory when it comes to parking in Isla Vista yesterday. Newspress article archived here reports that the Coastal Commission sent the County back to the drawing board. The best part is that people are starting to cry out for UCSB to become involved in this problem, as best said by Sabarina Venskus,

"the county needs to figure the problem out with UCSB, not put it on the backs of coastal access users."

All who park in IV for coastal access owe those hearty people who had the patience to insert themselves into the mire of bureaucracy to get this done.
