Some years ago Santa Barbara Surfing once carried a story written by Bob Campi called "Surfing the War Zone." about surfing in the Gaza Strip. Here is a Boston Globe story about a surfer in the Gaza Strip who wants to avoid politics and just surf during the Israeli pullout this week.
