Surf Reports from Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Pope added an RSS feed from the site, which are those two new icons on the sidebar. The first gives you an XML link to paste into your news/feed reader. The second will link you to an example of a feedreader that is simple and free to use. Yahoo explains RSS here. You may also notice that pope's email is hyperlinked again because he found a wicked spam filter and is no longer scared of those robots.
Don't forget this weekend is the 9th annual Rincon Clean Water Classic.
"Only A Surfer Knows the Feeling"
An artist reception will be held February 26th at the Art Den. 
The event will start at 6pm and is open to the public. The show will feature works by Charlie Clingman, MikeDe Nicola, Greg Huglin, Mike Kresky, Chris Pedersen, Rick Rivadeneyra, Shane Stoneman, Tyler Tomblin, and Rick Tontz. This showing features real and imaginary ocean landscape paintings, photographs, watercolors, abstracts and more. Josh Pomer of The Surf Labwill be showing THE Kill 7 and other surf films. The show runs February 26th - March 27th 10:30 - 4pm M-Th 11-4 Sat.
The Christian surf flick Noahs Ark will be showing next Thursday, March 3rd at 7:00 at the Marjorie Luke Theatre at SBJHS for free. Tom Curren will perform and Britt Merrick will preach.
Also, mark your calendars for Saturday, March 12th, for the SBJHS Surf Club's annual surf movie benefit. This year "Second Thoughts" will be shown along with all kinds of silent auction and door prize chaos. Tickets $10 at your local surf shop and more info coming soon.

There have been a lot of benefits out there for folks at La Conchita, and I've been bad about posting about them, so here are a few coming up:
La Conchita Benefit Sunday February 13 at Girls Inc in Carpinteria. Lots of info at http://www.benefitforlaconchita.com/
The Ventura County Star mentions the "Hear and Now" La Conchita Benefit Concert with Tom Curren, Jackson Browne and Collective Soul at 7pm on Saturday February 12th at the Arlington. Also in the article is a punk benefit at the Ventura Theatre and a Bluegrass concert at Nicholby's in Ventura.

The Rincon Classic is postponed until March 12-13, but the Rincon Clean Water Classic is February 26-27.
Jeff is selling a Surf Van in the classifieds and Colin is selling a boat.
