A new site is now up for posting surf videos online. Not unlike youtube.com, YouSurfTubes.com is where anyone can view or post videos related to surfing.

If you enjoy producing surf video... now you have the platform to launch your clips targeted at an equally Aquatic Audience. In your search for surf, you don't have to paddle through infinite sets of video clips to get to the good stuff. YouSurfTubes.com turns the power of your peers into Critical Mass.

SoCal Swell Model RSS and StormSurf Gadget
A few new tools for folks that like RSS and/or Google Home. The folks at CDIP that produce the SoCal Swell Model, have a Beta RSS feed of the swell model. Just plug http://cdip.ucsd.edu/rss/socal_now.xml into your favorite newsreader. Also for you google fans, Stormsurf now has a Google Gadget plugin.

Want Stormsurf content on your Google Homepage? It's simple and free. If you have Google set as your default Homepage, just click this link and a buoy forecast will be added to your Google homepage. Defaults to Half Moon Bay CA. If you want to select a different location, just click on the word 'edit', and a list of alternate available locations appears. Pick the one of your choice.
