Bobby Martinez Out Of WCT Stop 1

Bobby Martinez lost his Round 3 against rookie Kai Otton of Australia today at the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast. This is a bit of a letdown for the #5 surfer on the WCT tour, who made it to the semi-finals in this contest last year with his great backside attack. This will knock Bobby down to tied in 17th on the World Tour. His next heat won't be until at least April 3rd at Bells Beach in Australia. No word if he'll be hitting up the Rincon in between or sticking down there.
