The site has been lagging. It usually does in summer, but injuries have excaberated the situation. We're now back on board the surfing world and thus Santa Barbara Surfing.
Crisco searching for Blake
This is from a reader. If you can help out, email pope and he'll connect the dots.
I am a USAF physician serving in Afghanistan at this moment. I am based out of Travis AFB in CA. I am trying to find a friend who I lost touch with years ago who in the 80s was an avid surfer from Carpinteria. His name was Blake Hill. Would you know his whereabouts or his address or even the town that he lives in. We were friends when we did a Junior year abroad program in Madrid Spain from 1986-87. I last saw him in 1988. I'd appreciate any help in locating him. Thanks.
Morgan Maassen
Local surfer Morgan from Bogus Media continues to make waves in the surfing video world.
Morgan has a website (www.bogus-media.com), a Flickr page (photo to right he took this weekend at The Islands), and a new surf video called Fine Tea.
9'2" ISLE Longboard For Sale
Eric has another new longboard for sale, this time an Isle.
Bobby Martinez
Not much news in the pro surfing world, as the WCT doesn't come to Trestles until September 9th. However Bobby Martinez has been keeping it real by getting a short interview in the August issue of Outside Magazine.
