Scotty over at Surfrider Foundation fills us in on a few events they are involved with over the next few days:

One California Day is a collection of stories about surf culture and tradition, and the influence that California has on surfing's past, present, and future. It is visual journey through six distinct coastal regions, capturing the California surfing experience through surfers who live it. Local famous professional surfers, Joe and Tom Curren and the Malloy brothers, are featured as well as some great shots of surfing in Santa Barbara County. The film is really beautiful and will be shown on high definition 16 mm film. It has already played to sold out crowds in San Diego, Malibu, and Santa Cruz and received great reviews.
