
1995 was the first year of archived surf reports, with only one season's worth of reports online. The rest are lost to the electronic void of Usenet (unless someone archived them and hasn't told me about it yet).All in all it was a pretty good fall season, with a lot of surfing reported over the four-month period... at first glance. Actually, I didn't surf nearly that much, but archived all the reports even if I didn't surf. The winter wave season opened early, in October, and we had pretty good surf all the way through to an all-time December. (things shut down for early '96, but that's another summary).
54 reports were filed for the year, out of 122 days, for a report rate of 44%. Out of those reports, got good surf 37 times (69% of the time). Waves averaged around shoulder high. The highlights follow:
