Santa Barbara Area Surf Report

November Overview | 1995 Overview

Date/Time:
Saturday, Nov. 25th, 8:00 am - 11:30 am
Location:
Rincon, CA
Weather:
Sunny, no wind, thin clouds and contrails in the sky.
Conditions:
Glassy with good shape in the rivermouth.
Swell:
Inconsistent W groundswell, shoulder to head high with overhead peaks.
Comments:
Crowd even thicker than yesterday. Dominating. Nothing going uncontested, even on the waist-high inside. I still managed to pick off a few fun set drops. It was larger and lining up better around the point yesterday, maybe due to the shift of the swell to more of a west direction.

Most of the Indicator locals saw the crowds and fled for less well known spots, I probably should have done the same but decided to pay my dues... it makes the uncrowded days that much more magical to have surfed the fiberglass curtain days as well.
