November started off weak but finished strong, with a two-week flat spell leading into two weeks of good but crowded surf. The first good swell of the winter season came through this month the day after Thanksgiving, lasting a solid four days.Highlight of the month was a walled wave all the way through to the top of the Cove lineup. Lowlights of the month were a ding in my new board due to a drop-in and a neck injury due to a failure to stretch out beforehand.
Out of 17 reports, got good surf 11 times. Average wave height was in the shoulder high range.
