October certainly wasn't Rocktober. More waves to the north and south of town, very little inside, even at southerly breaks like Rincon. Inconsistency was the rule. Finished off strong with some good waves away from my usual haunt.Highlight of the month was an excellent set ride on the 23rd of the month, even got an open barrel, first ever!
Dawn patrol season arrived late in the month with mediocre payback so far.
Out of 15 reports, got good surf 8 times. Average wave height was in the waist high range.
