Comments:
Watched the buoys pick up and peak last night, 8 ft. 14 s. wave on the east channel buoy, it built as the wind dropped but didn't hold through to a morning check. Waited for low tide.

Some large right and left top-to-bottom walls, breaking fast and not usually makeable at our peak. Better waves where the locals were hitting it hard, but we wanted to stay low-key and minimize potential hassles. Inconsistent sets but fun when they came.

Beachbreak Max got a few lefts and Surfer Bob and I went mostly for the rights. It turned out better towards the evening after moving deep inside and picking off the more regular smaller waves which had a more reachable open face. Bellied it in on the last wave and did a 360-rollo right onto the sand, a throwback to my old boogieboarding days.
