Thick hazy high clouds, onshore breezes, cold.

Conditions:

Sloppy.

Swell:

Shaky groundswell between storm systems. Knee to chest high.

Comments:

Things seemed to get smaller the further south we drove, but there were some nice peaks mixed in with the junk. First time surfing here, a weird spot between two jetties by the harbor. Stuck mainly to a mostly closeout peak in the middle of the small pocket beach, got some good fast rides with practice at whacking the closeout section.
