Comments:
First time out in a week!

Paddled out atop the indicator with a dry head. The beachbreak was breaking small, right on the sand. Bowly little peaks coming in atop the point, with a soft shoulder and then a second, third, etc. series of mini-horseshoe sections going into the rivermouth, almost always unmakeable. The small size and west direction made it a little strange.

The sets were small yet totally rippable and fun, the best size for not caring and cutting loose, and good shape to keep the speed going. Eventually realized it was even better in the rivermouth and drifted inside.

After a few fun chase-the-section sets, made it over to the Cove and picked off some good ones from amongst the crowd. Eventually got to the point where I couldn't really plant a cutback anymore, and took a wave in to the freeway.
