This November was fair to poor compared to last year. A nasty flat spell reigned over the first half of the month, followed by some weak windswell and then one good solid week of overhead surf.Highlights of the month were explorations of new spots outside the usual regime, including some pristine wave habitat on the Gaviota Coast. A high/low duality goes to a single session, unprepared-for large surf somewhere along the northern parts of the county. The low point would be a ding I got in my 9'2" likely received on the only day I surfed it.
Out of 13 reports, surfed once on my longboard. Only got good surf 3 times.
