Santa Barbara Area Surf Report

November Overview | 1996 Overview

Date/Time:
Tuesday, November 12th, 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Location:
Rincon Point
Weather:
Early morning haze burning through with approaching coastal fog.
Conditions:
Good to fair with building onshores associated with the fog bank.
Swell:
Weak out of the west, knee to waist high with some chest high sets. Inconsistent single to two-wave sets.
Comments:
Made some observations yesterday but did not have a chance to paddle out. It didn't look as good today. Took out the longboard to handle the weak wave height and high tide; it was still hard to get into the waves.

Got a few fun little zippers along the cobbles into the rivermouth.
