Weather:

Warm and sunny, light sideshore breezes. Building Santa Ana winds should settle into Ventura this afternoon.

Conditions:

Good. Clean water surface. Mushy and windswelly shape.

Swell:

Fairly weak out of the west, waist high with very sporadic head high sets.

Comments:

Maintenance surf. The set waves were fun, got more than my share of those. A lot of hassling with a heavy crowd for the consistency. Windswell influence from the channel winds making it jack and fade and generally spoiling the lineup. Beachbreaks would be a better call today.
