At Sequit, got about 5 waves in 3 hours, followed up each one with a paddle around the buoy to get some exercise and alleviate boredom. Very weak, barely rideable, should have brought my longboard. Got some fun cutbacks, pumps, and floaters in, about 2 maneuvers per wave. Nice clear water.

This weekend down at C Street is the "California Beach Party", a two-day long event with live bands and a longboard competition. Dick Dale will be playing there on Sunday at 2pm.
At the Ventura Theatre on Saturday night is a pair of surf bands playing at the "Surfers Stomp" along with a premiere of a new Hal Jepsen longboard movie. The concert and premiere are a benefit to find a permanent home for the C Street Surfing Museum.
