There was actually a beach of sorts in front of the rip-rap
due to the extreme low tide. It felt good to walk on sand instead
of rusting iron rebar and concrete.
The water has cooled off to more seasonal temperatures with enhanced mixing and upwelling due to all the recent winds. Still possible to trunk it though with the hot sun overhead. Experimented a bit on the weak shoulders with a stronger cutback with some success, mostly just chased over the weak sections and admired the clean green water. A nice day. |
