|
| Weather: |
Cool and dry, mostly cloudy with howling westerlies. Strong

|
| Conditions: |
Victory-at-sea everywhere but the cove, very windswelly and
peaky there. Terrible.
|
| Swell: |
Too-north or too-small for its northness, 8-10 ft at 14 s
on the outer buoys and around 4 ft at 14 s on the Santa Monica buoy.
|
| Surf: |
Junk peaks with weak shoulders, around chest high.
|
| Comments: |
Should have surfed on Thursday or Friday instead of this
slop! Checked the cove with some friends up from San Diego
on a bit of a lark, blown out and brown everywhere but what
looked to be fun lines rolling through the inside. Somehow
it looked better from shore than it actually was, with not
much worth surfing after the quick peaky drops. Lots of
paddling against the wind and chop and a pretty thick crowd
given the conditions.
