| Comments: |
Not bad for the first opening swells of the season; we've
had rideable surf since Thursday...
five days in a row. This is the earliest our winter season
has opened -- overhead sets -- since I've started the archive.
1995 opened in mid-November
and 1996 opened on the 14th
of October. Neither of those swells were as good as this one
(which is still going)!
Checked it this morning and saw very few people out; there's
three guys out right now dealing with the windblown peaks,
all longboarders. The windswell is keeping the waves alive
and is really starting to dominate the fading groundswell
from Ginger.
