| Surf: | Consistent shoulder to head high waves. |
| Comments: |
Waited for the 6 ft high tide to start on its way down before
heading out. The beach atop the point is slowly attempting a
comeback, cusped berms of cobble lined with pebbles moving
down the coast towards the homes. Excellent surf-glass pickings
now; most of the shells have already been found.
Super-fun waves and not a lot of people. Best ones went deep into the rivermouth. A little mushy at times on the shoulder; had to throw the cutbacks in just the right spots or be stuck there hopping and looking foolish. Missed a few; made a bunch more, and left the water feeling like I'd gotten way more than my share. Days like this are among the best, everyone pretty stoked, knowing that there's plenty more on the way, heck this is a bit of a down period compared to the past four weeks. Play time. Get out there and enjoy it while it lasts, we're due for another whomping within the next five days. |
