An excellent fall month to make up for the let-down of October. Several solid swells lined up to stoke us during Thanksgiving week and the weeks prior. The water cooled off and the booties went on a little early.Such a good surf month makes the highlights hard to pick. Got some solid waves north of Pt. Conception in mid-month and cracked the seal on the Gaviota Coast not once but twice, the better of the two being a super-fun solo lunch break sesh.
But the ultimate highlight by far was the wave at Rincon, the whole length of the point.
Out of eleven reports, got good surf eight times. Didn't ride the longboard at all and rode the semi-gun once. Average wave height was in the head high range.
