| Comments: |
Never leave good surf. Today was to be our departure day
on a 2 1/2 week long Baja run. We wisely opted to delay
due to some good swell rolling in right at home and a desire
not to get nailed by the classic surf trip curse. Leave
good surf behind in the expectation of all-time uncrowded
Baja and you're bound to be skunked.
So we punched the clock at Rincon, expecting the worst in
terms of crowds. It was actually a surprisingly mellow
experience, with relatively few people out in the lineup.
Fast waves walling off the indicator and through to the
rivermouth.
