Comments:   Swell hadn't really arrived yet, so it was just a 'just to get wet' session that ended up having a few redeeming rides. Waves were small and breaking on a sandbar off to the left. Most rides were lefts that were marching down the beach, 1'-2' high with great shape. The sets were few and far between, but of those the rights were typically better and they held up better then expected. Only a couple of truly long rides, a couple of rail grabbing lefts until I got turned over and some turnable rights that gave glimmers of stoke.

When I got home later that night it looked like the bouys were finally starting to show with the new swell.
