Comments:   Broke out of the office early to see if I could catch anything. Didn't look too promising but getting wet looked good. Was hoping the recent storms would have built up some good sandbars and there was some improvement but not spectacular. 3 kids out on the peak to east so i headed for the peak to the west. Ended up getting a dozen or so really fun waves in the hour i was out. Length of the rides was remarklebly improved over the last time i surfed up here. Got covered up once where I saw the little roof start pitching over my head before I lost all sight.

Water seemed cold. Much of the tape on my suit has fallen out now and I can begin to feel water seem thru certain key areas. Not sure the O'Neil can make it thru the winter. Getting out of the water, the offshores compounded the cold factorial. I'm a wuss.

My old "Rac Pac" surf racks have been trashed for sometime. The little plastic buckles were broken and i needed a knife to open them. Stupid design. So i ponied up for some of Surf Country's rack pads that use a steel trucker tie down instead of a plastic piece. Is way stronger and should last longer but cold hands on cold steel are a tough combo after a sunset session in light offshores. Not sure I like the new pads, seem a little more clumsy and time consuming then the Rac Pac, but yet also seem more robust. More reviews to come.
