Comments:   The first session with the Walden. Waves looked un-rideable but Kristi and i decided the Walden was screaming for saltwater so we let it loose. Ended up being more fun then anticipated. Tried something I wouldn't recommend: wax a little bit on shore then take the wax out to the lineup to finish. Result: bad wax job and lost the wax bar (if anyone sees a Zog's 3X green stick in the sand I'm sorry for littering). We were the only ones out at the point so we traded off getting rides down to the block house. Super slow thigh high waves with an occaisonal fast section. Water so clear you could see the bottom the whole time.

The Walden is a fun board. Glides nice, turns smooth. Seems to hold on to me better then the Dan-O. I think the 50/50 rails on the Dan-O made me have to be more delicate with my turns, but Walden brings them in sooner making the board respond quicker and not dive. Tough to explain. Will try to get the board wired and will report back.
