| Comments: | The day after thanksgiving. The wind that howeled yesterday was gone as were most of the people. Unkle and I had some real fun and long rides before it got too bad. Unkle in particular seemed to have one of his best sessions in at least 2-3 months. I managed to hold onto the Pig except for one time where I lost it on a sudden closeout but the board was rescued by an older surfer who claimed he surfs leash-less everywhere but here for crowd safety. Tail between my legs I said thanks and rested up after the swim. Was the lack of wetsuits and leashes it's own form of crowd control in the 60's? The bearded one with the Central Coast look was out again, doing his dance and slipping and sliding his board and somehow knowing how to find the sweet spot on every wave. On the drive back up the coast Rincon looked fun and not too packed. I need to start going there again. | ||
