| Surf: | Sets out at the point were head high with occaisonal overhead waves. Down towards I.V. it got progressively smaller. | ||
| Comments: | The Back to school swell is dragging people out of the woodwork. A early afternoon session that was supposed to avoid the lunch rush was still crowded. At least 50 people in the water, strewn from the point to the stairs. Long lulls but some good sets that held up nicely. My best wave was head high at best and fast enough to race. Some sections were pitching out but most were rolling along. I really hate surfing in crowds and although the vibe was good I couldn't scrape together enough in my short lunch hour to get tired. | ||
