Comments:   The first time I've been in town on a Saturday morning in awhile, so the saturday dawn patrol with Unkle and Steve was in full effect. Since tonight was going to be the start of daylight savings time, we figured we go as early as possible to enjoy a rare 5:30am surfing session. I think I'm taking the blame for that idea. We showed up and, suprise, surprise...it's windy and blown out and looks like garbage for the 5th day in a row. Unkle was not held back, he was taking his "top performer" out there no matter what. So we suited up, Unkle refused to wear booties, and we headed down there.

We tried at first to use the low tide to walk up the beach a bit, but the waves were even worse then where we parked. So we walked back down to the cars and headed out into frigid knee high mushy waves. The rule we made was if we all caught 3 waves we could go in and have coffee. It was an absolutely unremarkable session. We all caught out 3 waves, and by that time the sun was up and we about ready to head in. We stayed out a bit longer, I actually caught a couple of fun waves, and then we headed in.

The wind is driving me crazy. I showed up at 7:00 everyday last week to look for waves. Nothing but blown out wind junk. Then I'd check it out again around 5:00 in the afternoon. More of the same. We need the wind to go home and some waves to reach us.
