Comments:
Ian is back in town for a few days to show his Goleta peeps how to do it OG style on his Brad Johnson. Picked him up on the hill of Death after hearing how he ruined his pop's new transmission the evening before and his neighbors Cobra Kit Car status. Sands was a proven winner from the day before so we headed there to meet Adam with what may have been the same RocketFish that I had beeing eyeing at Surf Country earlier this summer.
We walked down there and suited up and there were only two other guys out. The size had dropped since last night and they were closing out a bit more, but no one was complaining for the summer. Ian went leashless on the Brad Johnson and Adam and I made sure to heckle him every time he swam in after his board. None of us was on fire, our wave count was low and we all had a few fun ones but it was no ripster session today.
Had a few fun lefts with some speed but nothing was pitching out really. A few fun rights which seemed to close out too early to do much on. The water out there is really clean now, except for the passing slick to avoid. Nice summer morning with a fairly empty lineup and a decent wave every now and then. Towards the end it shut down and we started to get cold in our springsuits from lack of movement. It was time to head in and get a bagel.
