Comments:
Tried to dawn patrol it but the tide was not allowing anything thru anywhere I checked. Instead went to work early and planned for a long lunchtime session. Headed down to Coal Oil at noon, didn't check and just went for it. Only a few folks in the water and very small. Walked all the way to Sands and it didn't look any better so Deveraux it was.
The waves were beter than they appeared and with only a few folks spread all over it was easy to score a bunch of waves to make up for the size. Started out at the point and it the tide was really too low for it to break out there. Got a few and then ended up mostly in front of the block house with a couple of other folks. Waves were real long and slow. You'd head in, pass a coupld of exposed rocks, keep going and going until you thought your fin would hit. You'd paddle back out, wait your turn and do it all over again. The waves were extremely fun and laidback, the sun felt good, and the water temp is crisp yet refreshing..no bone chilling temps yet.
