Comments:   The wind has been blowing for many days in a row. I missed out on a few sessions because the wind came up early and never died down. Today I figured I would try to get out early, but not to early because of the high tide in the morning. I drove around to some beachbreaks which looked to chaotic and then a point break which didn't look like it had enough juice, and then just settled for this beachbreak on the side of the road. The wind was coming out of the hills and really holding the waves up and giving that refreshing in your face spit on the backside. The waves were a bit hard to catch because of the wind holding them up, but once in they had good down the line shape. Not really one of my better sessions but it was good to get out there. A few nice sets came in that were about head high, but they held up a little too long and kind of sputtered along. I was mostly catching the wiast to chest high ones that broke a little shallower and offered a little more juice to work with.

A couple of the lefts were rail grabbing fast but I never got barrelled. The rights weren't as fast and offered up a few lips to hit here and there. The hills right now are very green due to the rain we've been getting. Just driving up along the coast is great to see the green hills and the farms and cows. You almost forget about the giant raging battles that are going on over this stretch of coast. At least the cows didn't seem to know about it.

My wavecount was pretty low and I couldn't hang out there too long so I wasn't as tired as I'd like to be after a session. The wind just kept blowing and blowing, occaisionaly shifting direction but never subsiding. The waves seemed to be getting worse as the session went on, but I doubt it. As I was getting out I saw a set came in way outside of the few folks who were out there. It was a lovely blue/green windswept number that would of made a nice photo.

Back at work the wind got worse and worse and was also bad on Thursday. A check of this same spot 1 day later showed much worse conditions because of the storm system that passed through during the night.
