| Comments: | I just wanted to get wet so I went here. Waves were small and infrequent but when the sets came they had some power. The in between waves had no power. Water was pretty clean but some rip currents were moving lots of brown choppy water outside. The sand that was forming sandbars is coming back to shore now, a little too much sand for my taste. We need to get that sand back offshore so these things stop closing out. 3 of us out and each had his own peak. My anti-socialness continues. I actually like surfing with a couple of other guys but I'm pretty shy and never want to sit on some guys peak who is out there alone. There really was no best peak since it was a roll of the dice weather any of the waves were makeable. There is a possee of guys that always hangs out in a parking lot here. No doubt long time SB/Goleta locals. I finally chatted with a few after months and months of surfing this place and just doing the head nod. An interesting little sub-culture. | ||
