Comments:
3rd day in a row at the same spot at the same time. Brought Kristi down so she could go on a run down the bikepath towards Ventura. It was a foggy and cruddy day as it has been for the last 2 weeks. The lineup looked crowded and the waves were not as good as yesterday. I started on the outside of the pack and caught some closeouts and like yesterday headed into the pack. I just wasn't jiving well and kept getting jockeyed out of position and was picking up scraps. It was a sub-par session. I caught one nice left, that was chest high and fast. I pulled the takeoff much to the shock of the guy on the shoulder, he backed off, and much to my surprise I didn't blow it but made it to the shore. The day was over, I had a couple of good waves but today would not be my day.
