Comments:
I took a 6'2" board that I picked up recently out. I hadn't surfed a board this short since high school, and I showed it. The waves were pretty fun, and there was a lot of longboarders out. Actually one of the only days I've seen this little beachbreak look so apealing to longboard. But I was on my shortest board in 10 years. Took me awhile to even catch waves. Then when I did it took me awhile to even get down the line. Once I began to do that I remember all of the fun I had been missing with these little boards. But it didn't make up for the frustration of seeing nice lines go by being ridden soulfully by some good longboarders.
No waves of much merit today. I was a pure begginner, trying to get a board wired that was built for someone with way more agility then i posses. I'll try it again, and if the waves are good, maybe one day I'll get it wired.
Water was warm. Dolphins in attendence. Everyone putting out a great vibe. A good day in the Goodland.
