March was a pretty slow month for waves. The only real big swell we had was the weekend of March 15 was when I was gone. Bummer. The month started out slow with some small days up in Goleta. Then the Swell of March 14-16 came in for what appeared to be some great waves. After that we had lots and lots of wind making for some cold and crappy sessions. Towards the end of the month things started to clean up again. Some fun days up in Goleta and stories about some really great days at Rincon. The month ended by shortboarding a really flat day up in Goleta. Symbolic of my March.
Out of a mere 11 days of surfing, 10 were on the shortboard and one was on the longboard.
