Comments:
A mid-november jaunt down to Coal Oil Point with the Longboard. 4 people out at Deveraux, 4 out at Sands. Deveraux didn't look rideable, so I headed out to Sands. Waves were small and the tide was low, many rocks poking out with alpha male seagulls on top. No tar on beach or in the water, the water was extremely clean actually. Water temp is still quite nice and warm. Waves would break at the main peak the best, I hung to the left and caught some small left and rights. Very long lulls, very small waves, very shallow water. A half hour of this and I had accomplished my goal of relaxing away from work for awhile. We need waves.
