Comments:
Friday afternoon and the buoys are showing some windswell. No time to check, only go. Leadbetter looked super small but the sunset was going to be nice. Headed out and one other fella was out there, who left as soon as I was out. Waves were small but shape was ok. Very stiff cool breeze was coming off the land. Waves were breaking in very shallow water. Many times I'd spin around to catch a wave and my board would hit some rock on the bottom. Best spot in the lineup ended up being over near the 2nd peak when the waves would swing wide. Those could be caught all the way into the beach if you raced down the line and then cutback quickly to do the Leadbetter Fade.
