Comments:
With the buoys cut in half since yesterday, waves were not going to even be worth travelling for. However, getting in the water at all costs would be required. Went out on the Mesa by myself in 12 inches of water with a bunch of kelp and rocks. Sat and waited for the knee high sets to come thru, mostly lefts that provided 3-4 second long rides. Leashless and lost my pristine board at the very end, somehow didn't get digned. Towards the end rocks were 1-2 feet out of the water that I hadn't even seen when I first got there. Tide was dropping 8.5 feet in 7 hours, makes choosing a good surfing window important during these winter spring tides very important.
