Comments:
Up to Pismo where the water was cold and the booties came on. Out with Bill and K-dog north of the pier. Swell was out of the west more than usual, the precurser perhaps to the nice west swell we got on Sunday. Took out the disposable water camera and took some pics, not sure if they'll work out. Bill caught the wave of the day, the first of a set that was more towards chest high and a right, a late takeoff that he made and down the line. I got a few rights and lefts and I could turn more adeptly than I usually can. A lot of cutbacks and since a lot closed out on me a few longboard lip smacks (or so I thought) and an attempt at coverage.
