Comments:
First glance was highly disapointing. Both Unkle and I had gone out the evening before and had the biggest sessions in months. With some patience though, we waited out the long lulls and the sets came in. They were things of beauty, Waist to Chest high and absolutley peeling. The problem was they were few and far between so one was forced to catch the knee to waist high waves on the inside. Another bummer was the tide was quickly becoming unbearable and you could see how much it would be better if the tide was lower. The smaller waves soon refused to break, and you were stuck waiting for the bigger outside waves, and those were few and far between.

I had the best nose-ride in many months. Crusing down the line I attempted some scissor walking to the nose and actually got 5 so close, but yet not quite over the nose. Was up there for a good long while, not long enough to eat a ham sandwich, but long enough to be completely stoked before my fin must of popped out and slid down the wave and ate it. The rest of my session I was completely focused on getting an honest to goodness cheater five, but it never happened.

Wave of the day goes to Unkle who caught waist high peeler and did his patented lean forward and stare down the line ride. A fun day, to finally see a little bit of promise along the coast.
