Comments:
After yesterday's high tide session us boys waited a little later today hoping to catch some racier low tide sections. There was a dozen or so folks out, a little too many for my taste, but we found a little peak and accomodated ourselves. The swell was breaking quite nicely at the outside point, then falling apart, and about a minute or two later our peak would jump alive. Not very big, waist high at best, but there were two rogue sets that brought in gorgeous chest high peelers that we got caught inside on. Over 2 hours out, and we only saw 2 or 3 of those waves, and the last hour there were no rogue sets whatsoever.
Steve managed to spend quite a bit of time in the red zone on his board, which is up near the nose. I managed to get to the nose only a few times, and never did I step in front of the star. Unkle was taking his typical Da Bull stance that affords no nose walking. Sets held only 2 waves usually, perhaps 3 sometimes. Lulls were long. Water is getting cold, and there is still quite a bit of red tide leftovers.
