Comments:
My first solo session in Pismo, since Bill and K-dog both were up to other things. Headed to a new spot for the first time, a break in shell beach that I had seen but never surfed. The swell was so big that I feared that the beachbreaks in Pismo would be 8 lines deep in whitewash and closeouts, which appeared to be true. This place was very sheltered yet perhaps the tide was too high cause the waves would pop up but not break until the inside. They also had a lot of backwash and crazy lumpy stuff going on. I only went out for an hour because of this. The water was cold but clean and the other folks out were nice. Not much in the way of memorable rides.
