Comments:

Lunchtime Sands session with Kyle. Already made the decision to go out no matter what but figured we'd ask a guy returning how it was. "Unrideable man, tide is way high on the beach" was his answer. This proved faulty data and we had fun making fun of this guy and his anti-crowd tactics the rest of the session. The tide was high in the am but by noon it was below noon and rocks you don't like seeing were showing on the radar. As for waves, yeah it was small but it wasn't unrideable. At least not for a Santa Barbaraian coming off a tough summer. Every joke either centered on that guys bad data, or jokes about how we wished we brought our leashes cause it was so huge. I did actually spend a lot of time swimming after my board and was a poor steward of my board. I even almost nailed Kyle with on a blown pull-out. It was a fun session, we caught a lot of little waves and got some turns in.
